Two people from Griffithsville, West Virginia have been arrested by state police. They are linked to a fire that destroyed a high school dugout.
The two individuals, Lisa McClure, 57, and Curtis Mooney, 32, face charges of Arson, Conspiracy, and Felony Destruction of Property. They are now in the South Central Regional Jail. They are waiting for an early court hearing.
The police are seeking help from the public. They need to identify a vehicle tied to the fire. This incident caused a lot of damage. It destroyed lawn care tools, baseball gear, and other property. The total loss is significant.
The West Virginia State Police and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are working on the case. They are following leads. They ask anyone with information to step forward. People with useful information should contact the West Virginia State Police.
