Surviving are two children: Donald Edward Leggett, and Deanna Hoskinson, and her husband, Terry.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Joyce Trimmer.

Prior to losing her beloved husband, Donna was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress, and an excellent cook, often affectionately referred to as “Sunday Dinner Grandma.” She took great joy in making dinner every Sunday for her large family.
Eventually she became a waitress, stating that she had been waiting on her family for years and that she knew how to do it. She spent over 30 years working for the Shields family at their locations at Jewel City and Raymon’s Restaurant.
Donna joined a line dance group and thoroughly enjoyed it. Going to Nashville and dancing on live television at the Wild Horse Saloon was one of her fondest memories. However, there was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 5-7 p.m., Thursday and from 10 a.m. till the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, April 19.
